Actuate Media, LLC ("Actuate Media", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to making our website, actuatemedia.com, accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We believe everyone should be able to find, read, and interact with our content.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
We consider this site partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most content meets the standard, but some parts — particularly third-party content described under Known Limitations below — may not yet fully conform. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review the site as content and features change.
Measures We Take
Accessibility practices built into this site include:
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions, labeled navigation, and a logical heading structure
- A "Skip to content" link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Keyboard-operable menus, forms, and interactive components
- Alternative text on informative images
- Text and interface colors chosen for sufficient contrast

Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may present accessibility challenges:
- Third-party widgets: Some embedded content — such as our client reviews widget and embedded maps or videos — is provided by third parties, and we cannot fully control its accessibility. Where possible, we provide the same information elsewhere in accessible form (for example, our office addresses are published as text on the Contact page).
- Legacy content: Older blog posts and documents may predate our current standards. If you encounter an issue, let us know and we will prioritize a fix or provide the content in an alternative format.
Browser & Assistive Technology
This site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and screen magnification software. The site may not perform as expected on browsers that are no longer maintained.
